Welcome to 2013...

...stood on the mud banks of the River Thames with thousands of other revelers, thankfully the tide was out but it was still muddy enough for me to nearly lose one of my shoes in ankle deep, sand and silt, although it's amazing that no-one notices or cares when the beer is flowing and champagne corks are popping.

A quick shout out to all you lovely blip mates out there across the globe (a) to wish you all a happy new year and may it be a great one for you and all your loved ones and (b) for getting my old man on the spotlight page for his birthday yesterday, he loved the picture and it almost brought a tear to his eye.

So keeping up with tradition there are 2 bridges in the picture (Lambeth & Westminster) but it is time for my annual predictions of which only one came true in 2012 and even that was only in the 94rd minute at the Etihad stadium in May, so i'll try to do better this year
