Wet Wet Wet

We at last have got some rain. It has been light rain none stop all day.

This morning I thought a car had hit the house as there was a big bang. After looking all around... nothing. I started to hear some sirens so knew something had happened close by. 

It took a while before news started to come in...  they seem to think it was gas explosion nearby in Northwood. The explosion destroyed one house  and damaged several others. Six people were injured and rushed to hospital - with injuries ranging from moderately serious to critical. It was amazing no one was killed. Must be so flighting for all the people that live in the area. Here is a link to the event.

I went to my friends for lunch today and it was to meet catch up on all the news. Most enjoyable.
