Harbinger of Spring....

It has been raining nonstop all day here in Blenheim. A good day for being indoors. These old fashioned cream freesias with their haunting fragrance remind me of my childhood and Grandmother’s garden. On another subject, this morning two friends and I attended a meeting organized by the Heart Foundation. The subject was Atrial Fibrillation and as I and my friends all have this condition from time to time it was naturally of great interest to us.. The presenter was Daniel, a talented cardiologist. He was brilliant and had a very receptive audience of over one hundred oldies. “There’s a lot of it about” was my conclusion.
