Acumen

When it comes to financial acumen, my partner has it in spades. Me...not so much. So, the cheapest way to get to where we want to be is a flight to Tampa from Gatwick, with a split train journey involving Edinburgh-Crewe and then Crewe-London first - even though the train we were on actually went to London but was more expensive than getting off at Crewe and then getting the next one to London with different tickets. I don't really claim to understand it...

There was then a short walk through a hot and sticky London from Euston to St. Pancras in order to get the train to Gatwick, with this photo being taken as we passed through London Bridge station. Premier Inn for the night, a hotel almost as big as the airport itself. Huuuuuuge. Very cold and welcoming pints of San Miguel in the restaurant along with typically decent food to finish a long day off.
