Middle Eastern carpet

I went with my husband to view items for sale by auction tomorrow.  We're interested in good furniture and whilst we saw some stuff we liked it was mostly too big for our relatively small rooms.  But I fell in love with the colours of this Middle Eastern carpet.  Hand-knotted and made of silk, you can see the sheen in the fold.

The second image is of the salesrooms.  I played about with Nik Silver Efex to create the mono version, not something I do often, but which I hope makes a cluttered photo look a bit more interesting.
