I had a wander round the harbour again today, I am glad I did because, I descovered that the marina gate problem appears to be sorted, because a new cable has been attached to the gate so that it can now be raised, thus keeping a head of water in the marina.

 It started to rain as I was about to return to my car, so I took this shot in good time before the heavens opened. It shows the harbour masters house, the sandstone building on the right. Castle Hill is in the distance on the left. the road bridge that connects Shipping Brow with Irish Street.
