Took AJ today for a blood test first thing, result good, haemoglobin levels much better.

AJ recalled to me her events yesterday with regards to her medication:
Medication had been delivered but as she was not in her flat they left a note to say the medication needed collecting from the chemist. AJ was cross at this point and goes to see the care staff for resolving the situation. Their response was to call me! “NO” was her firm response, they knew she was at the singing group, they could have taken receipt of the medication. Evidently not, new ruling the medication has to be given to the individual. AJ then requested support to collect her medication (they offered to provide the number of the taxi, “no she replied, you need to call the taxi as I am severely sight impaired and struggle to use the phone”). She also advised that she would need someone with her as she doesn’t know the area at all. Reluctantly, someone went with her!

AJ is no pushover!
