No smoking!

We were very sad to leave Brisbane today, having had the most wonderful time with our friends. They are all going to come to us next Xmas and we are busy making plans for that already woo hoooo :))

The flight was delayed leaving Brisbane and then when we had almost reached Perth the air traffic was backed up so we were put into a holding pattern for half an hour or so.

Nevertheless the airline was very accommodating and looked after us extremely nicely with extra beers for my husband and more nibbles than we could really handle.

Each seat had its own screen and there were 25 movies to choose from, so I watched two and felt stunned after that so I ate some more :) and read a book on my iPad for a while. It was all very leisurely.

I couldn't help but notice that the cigarette sign is still around, or should I say the non smoking sign, and it did look like a weird smiley face to me :)

Me, the non-smoker for the past 3 years, a 2010 New Years resolution that has turned into one of my greatest accomplishments!

Perth has had a terrible 8 day heat wave while we were away with every day over 37 degrees and most of them around or over 40 degrees so our apartment was extremely hot and we could hardly bear to be in here :(

The aircon is slowly kicking in and we are slowly winding down, and it feels very strange without Jakey boy and Miss Tiddles here. I will be picking them up first thing in the morning and I am just imagining the greetings we will get :)))))
