Starting the year with a bang!

I'd decided that if the weather was decent then I'd go to Stirling and get some photos of the fireworks. Of course, it started raining halfway there but it eased off around midnight.

I knew I'd get a decent view from beside the college with the River Forth in the foreground - I wasn't expecting a visit from the police to see what I was up to though! Maybe they thought I was going to bomb the college so I wouldn't have to go back but once they saw the camera they realised I was just there for the fireworks :)
