Adrian The Gnome
I've decided that I'm going to take another stab at updating my blip on a daily basis. I haven't done it in so long and i really do love taking photos. In addition to that I got a new camera for Xmas (I was very spoiled) a Nikon Coolpix P510, divine.
This is Adrian the gnome welcoming 2013. Adrian was a house-warming gift from my friend Sven. So much has happened this year that I don't have a record of and 2013 is not going to be a repeat. This is a list off the top of my head of some of the things that happened in the tremendous year that was 2012.
I came back from a holiday in the UK where i spent Xmas and New Year of 2011 and 2012. It was an amazing trip spent with my family and friends after not being home in about 4 years. I realised one thing after this trip, never again will I leave it so long before going back again.
I started to study online for a psychology degree. It's been enlightening to say the least. After spending a vast part of my life thinking that I was personality type extroversion it transpires that not only am I not I score ridiculously highly in Neuroticism. This came as a great source of entertainment to my sister to whom it still brings a smile to her face when she thinks about it. It also explain a lot :)
I also decided this year I was going shave me head to raise money for the Leukemia foundation. It was a great cause and a great night with virtually no hangover the next day and I raised over $22,000 Aussie dollars, tremendous. For those of you that are interested, I did a live web cast so my family and friends at home could see it, this was for mum.

Snowboarding in New Zealand, I am balancely (new word) challenged, as a child my nickname was bumble foot because I was always falling over. As an adult nothing has changed, you just have to see the humour in it. This is the second time I've been snowboarding and I'm not going to lie both times it was a challenge. It's with great pride I can announce that I managed to get down the beginner slope without falling over. Granted it was backwards (as when I went forwards it was way to fast) but I figure anything that involves me staying upright is a win.
We decided to move from Perth to Sydney, I took a 2 week holiday from work and drove across the country. An amazing trip that was far more picturesque than i thought it would be. It was a great holiday with great weather, lots of love and the opportunity to camp in some very special places.
My favourite little sister got engaged, enough said
We moved into a new house in Noranda in Perth, which has already got some great memories. Hence Adrian the gnome, I can't wait to make more memories in it in 2013.
We went on an amazing 3 week holiday in South Africa that far exceeded my expectations. A week in Cape Town, a week in Kruger National Park and a week on my boyfriends parents game farm. Three weeks of awesome fun, family, friends, love and laughter a truly special trip.

As part of the move I now work from home full time so taking a photo every day is also an excuse to get out of the house. So I'm looking forward to seeing what the camera can do and having some fun at the same time.
Any way time to go, to all wishing you the very best for 2013. If last year was sh*t have faith that this year will be better. If last year was great then I'm sure 2013 is going to knock it out of the water.
