Tiring but satisfying bike ride tonight with my old cycling buddies. The countryside around Chiddingfold and Lurgashall is beautiful in the evening sunshine. We stopped briefly to catch this view across the downs. We completed 50 km before returning to the Merry Harriers in Hambledon for a welcome pint and a rendezvous with Suzy who was meeting her brother. He was over from France to attend his daughter graduation.
Grateful today for a fulfilling bike ride in the English countryside. Catching up with old friends and hearing about my brother in laws life in the Dordogne.
