Steve's 34!

Today saw Steve's 34th birthday - quite scarry really as we met when he was 23! Jeesh!

The weather was considerably better and we made tracks to go to the marina to catch the ferry to Fuertaventura. Half an hour later and we were catapulted into a typical Spanish town. We haven't seen much of lanzarote as by the pool every day. It was nice seeing Fuerta. We shared a huge portion of paella by the sea. It was an amazing atmosphere.

In the evening we booked into the a la carte Italian restaurant at the resort for Steve's birthday meal. Again, incredible food. I'd planned a little surprise - happy birthday sang to him with cake! He was so surprised!

Entertainment in the evening and a game of pool - great end to the day.
