Neglected Angles of Calton Hill

Almost every day, I walk around this wee city hill. Past the hoards of tourists and instagramers snapping selfies at the cannon, unfinished Parthenon inspired structure, and Nelson's column.

Few take the walk around the corner, let alone stop to look at and appreciate this part of the observatory complex. It's my favourite... And the sunny days, with their green grasses and dashes of blooming colour, make it a treat. Especially as a daily escape from the office
