Supernumerary rainbow

A poor photo but you can just about see the extra bands of colours below (to the right of) the violet.  You get this phenomenon when the raindrops are of uniformly small size.  The extra bands are not due to more refraction but to interference, apparently.  

Taken near Ft William, where there should be a lot of scope for rainbow photos.
