A day with the great nephews

We spent the day with our identical twin great nephews so their parents could attend a wedding. It was beastly hot, but the house and pool were cool and the boys just great. They just turned five, my favorite age as a long retired teacher of 5 &6 year olds in public kindergarten. Smart, creative and charming, we had a very fun day together.

We did activities from kits we send them every month,  read books, our ears paid the price for the penny whistles we bought them in Ireland and T splashed in the pool with them.

For the Record,
This day came in and is going out just beastly hot. Same story for tomorrow, approaching 100 degrees easily.

All hands tired, but happy.
