Fly Me To The Moon...
I remember being sat in front of a black & white TV at school to watch the first moon landing. As a 10 year old I got the sense of the importance of the occasion.
I've just returned from another all nighter at Lullingstone Castle. My Blip is of St Botoph's Church which is within the grounds of the castle but not belonging to it. You could be forgiven to thinking it did considering the Hart Dykes have been entombed within its walls since the 15th Century.
The link to the space race and Lullingstone is the white line. It is the International Space Station (ISS) flying overhead. The red line is a passing plane. Not a bad image for a phone snap.
Off to bed now...
PS If you look closely you might spot Matilda. She was a year away from being made when Armstrong walked on the moon. Possibly she was on the shelves of the parts department waiting assembly.
