Monte Capanne

Up early and a drive through the national park to Monte Capanne, the highest peak on Elba (1,018m). Took a ride up to the top on the loosely-termed ‘cable car’. Great fun. Amazing views of the whole island, mainland Italy to the east, Sardinia and Corsica to the west.

Rest of the day = beach then pizza.
