Flying in for food from Isotoma flowers

I've been spending a lot of time sitting and waiting with the dining room door open and a camera round my neck.

I'm beginning to notice more and more details. These hoverflies are a treat as they don't flit about too fast and wander around the open flowers checking for the last specks of pollen.

I'm afraid my blips are likely to be these sorts of scenes, as I c an't walk far, and carrying camera gear is probably not a good idea when walking with crutches.
