Lonely lily

I thought I'd finish my two timber planters today, but I ran out of nails and had to pop down to Homebase, fortunately less than a ten minute drive even tho' we live up at the leafy top end of town.

When I came back I cut some plywood and nailed it on to make the bases, in spite of the pouring rain! All I have to do now is drill some holes in them for drainage and fix some straps across to keep the planters off the ground.

I had a look in the Homebase garden centre in search of a Blip and settled on this bench full of lilies which has been bugging me for the last couple of weeks. They're all pink, apart from one lonely specimen at the back which is white. Now how could anyone leave it like that? I took it out to put it with its buddies, but there weren't any so it had to go back among the aliens!
