Sailing on the Thames.

A lovely day spent with friends, sadly  only 7 of us now that June is no longer with us. It's hard to believe when we set up this date to meet none of us had any idea that we would be one less. It's a good job we don't know what's round the corner, but a lesson to know you have to grab and enjoy what you can, when you can.

This little group are people Jeff used to work with and we meet up at least twice a year, it's great, and we all get along so well.

We had a fabulous lunch in a pub by the Thames, then a little walk along the bank watching the sailing and marvelling at how fast the sailors move from one side of the boat to the other without being knocked overboard by the sail. 

Lots of dogs loving swimming in the water. There was one Poodle with what I'd call a drastic hair clip. Wendy made me laugh when she commented on it's hair style and described it as a 'Should have gone to Specsavers' sort of clip!
