Gluten-free Carrot Cake

Today we went into Bishop’s Stortford to take in the charger for the returned Galaxy Watch. We had coffee and cake in the Rosey Lea Tea Shop. Café Thyme, sensibly, is not open on Sunday. The cake was excellent, is today’s picture, but my favourite is still the gluten free cake, Lime and Coconut in Café Thyme.
 
We did some shopping and took the charger into the shop to get a refund. Then before going home again, we had more coffee in Waterstones.
 
My neighbour has just sent me a text to say our lane may be closed tomorrow while they change a telegraph pole. We were going to a U3A location event, but if the lane is closed we will be going nowhere!
 
The weather today was the same as yesterday, twenty-one degrees Celsius at GMT noon; it was mainly overcast all day.
