Pea soup...

...off to Shetland again today...eventually!

Alarm went off at 4:30 to catch the early flight...MrR took me through only to be still sitting at Edinburgh airport at lunch time!

Sumburgh was fog bound! Eventually took off round about 1pm...then ended up circling above Sumburgh looking for a wee break in the fog. Managed to get that and land or we were going to be headed back to Edinburgh again.

Flights cancelled left, right and centre today.

As we left the airport in our hire car we were stopped at the runway crossing as a plane took off...that’s it through the mist!

Grateful that after that flight we didn’t end back in Edinburgh so another attempt would have to be made.
