Mended!

The rear fixing for the LR seat satisfactorily repaired. The rear had sheared off around the bolt hole. I cut a small plate and welded that on the top and then welded the broken section back on the underside of the new plate.
All went well until the towel I had to protect the leather seat caught fire! Luckily it was an old dog towel and no damage was sustained to the leather seat cover.
