A Step Back in Time

The last time I stood outside this Office door I was 17 years old.   On leaving school at the age of 15 I began work as Office Junior at the firm of Mallison's Corn Merchants at Portsmouth, Todmorden.   The building and surroundings were in much better condition then and situated right next to a busy railway line.   My desk was right up to the first set of double windows, enabling me to wave to all the train drivers as they passed by.   Happy days.
