Another baptism

Ten years ago, our church was in trouble.  No young people and the old people getting older.  Then we took a chance on a young married couple who were in congregations in Wisconsin.  It was a stretch because they didn't look like us.  I am glad we did.  Our church was revitalized.  The husband went off to be the bishop of our synod.  The wife is our lead pastor.  Positive things were happening.  About a year ago, we hired an associate pastor from Minneapolis, Pastor Matt the man you see here.  We are growing and growing.  I no longer fear us turning off the lights permanently any time soon.
