Lock Keeper's Door

This rather decorative door belongs to the Lock Keeper's Cottage on the Rochdale Canal. It's just on the Lancashire side to the Boundary between Lancashire and Yorkshire (Lock 35).
It marks the West Summit Lock (Lock 37) which is effectively the highest point of the canal (190 metres (623 feet) above sea level).
