We visited the town of Hastings today.  We enjoyed walking through the old area of the town with its quirky shops and coffee bars.  We then went to Battle, of the Battle of Hastings fame.  There is a small exhibition giving details of the battle and the HG found that very interesting, I loved the gardens surrounding it which were laid out in medieval style.

Coincidentally the local community were having a scarecrow competition, and I have blipped one of the entrants, and also an extra.
