Comanche

Made it down to see two boats finish this afternoon off Diamond Head (Brigadoon and Ho okolohe).   As we were waiting, a group of people to cheer on Brigadoon appeared, which made for a more interesting wait.  However, we were more excited to see Comanche (first monohull to finish, July 18) out for a sail, so a picture of her instead.   She's instantly recognizable (a maxi, 100 foot, red&black), beautiful to watch.   Sailing with her mainsail reefed, but still well-heeled in 20 - 25 knot winds.

Back blipped Sun 7/21.   Looks like 30 boats will finish today.  Ninety boats in the race, 8 retired.
