Runway 09

Industrial action by air traffic controllers  today closed both  Sumburgh and Kirkwall Airports. Not sure it has had too much effect at Sumburgh as the fog came down so not sure there would have been too much happening. 

As the main road crosses runway 09 at Sumburgh  I took the opportunity to walk across without the need to hurry in case a plane was coming in.
