Pitmedden

A visit to Pitmedden Garden. We were surprised as we arrived to see so many cars, and to see parking attendants on duty. After we parked I asked an attendant what was going on, he informed us there was a vegan food fayre. As we were not interested in the food fayre we were a little disappointed to have to pay for something in which we were not interested. However having come all this way we had no real option but to stay.

A warm afternoon mostly sunny but with cloudy intervals. We had a wander round the garden which was looking good, especially the borders. Warm enough on the way back to have the roof open.

We passed a sports car rally going on the opposite direction. There must have been in the region of thirty or so cars. A mix of makes, perhaps MG and Porsche were the brands most in evidence. A few Jaguars and even a TVR.
