Where did the snow go?

Missed out on fireworks photos, oh well.
To more than compensate, witnessed the nephew seeing his very first new year's fireworks, such excitement!

It doesn't look much like the beginning of the year. Usually it's very cold and snowy.

Thoughts for the new year: it will be better, it shall be better.
