I see you !

By now I would have thought they would have become used to me spying on them, but no, they keep on jumping away and hiding under the lily pads. Then again quietly sitting on the bench overseeing the pond and waiting for them to reappear is about the most relaxing thing I know, probably the next best thing to mindfulness ;-) Here's the smallest and least shy one of the pond frogs (there are 3 maybe  in total, there's one that is quite dark, stays underwater and only emerges for a split second when some hapless insect accidentally falls in the water).

Happy Birthday to son no 2, we've had some of the apple pie twice already :-)
