In Amongst the Blackcurrants

We missed out on the strawberries with being away when they came to their best, but the blackcurrants keep on giving.  I've already put in several hours at the allotment picking them and there are still lots more to ripen.  At lunchtime I had my yoghurt with blackcurrant coulis from last year's fruit, blueberries, raspberries and then I finished off with the remainder of the plum crumble from last year's plums.  Hopefully this promised sunshine this week will bring on this year's plums so we can pick them before we go away.
