A long time ago…

My Day:
Really not much to report… woke up when I woke up…
Dithered around then out on the bike, visit to be bike shop afterwards. Now back home without much else planned.
 
Cycling:
Day 12/92
32 miles on the road today, quite a hilly route and my legs and mind were not into it today so limped around.
The cracked rim is not worth repairing unless I can find a new old stock of the same type, the newer equivalent is too expensive, and I end up with a set of odd wheels. They are only training wheel and have served me well. I went into the loft to look for some alternate wheels for my track bike and found today photograph and some other wheels.

This is a photo of a photo of me in around 1980 leading the bunch up a hill I rode up today, if only I could go up at the same speed today. Nice to reminisce I suppose…  
The guy with the solid white crash helmet is my mate I been helping with the start gate and interval training; I’ve known him since junior school, and we start racing in 1973.
