Lovely day for a walk

As today seemed to be a good day for walking, we set off to follow the circular walk from the N T owned Tithe Barn at Middle Littleton.The first part took us through Cleeve Prior where the Pub was, disappointingly, shut on Monday’s until 2. Then past this nice old Church and eventually to the banks of the Avon which we then followed for a couple of miles down stream before climbing back up Cleeve Hill to pick up the bridle path taking us back to the barn.
Just over six miles, a good walk for us nowadays though not the ten or fifteen that we used to do.
Having seen Tuesday’s forecast temperatures, I think we chose the right day.
