Dog Walker
We enjoy finding a new walk especially if it's not too far away. Today we started just outside Buxton, only about 40 minutes drive away. We started in Buxton Country Park with a slight diversion up Grin Low to Solomon's Temple. Grin Low is the site of a Bronze Age burial chamber.

The start was once the base of the Grin Quarry where limestone was excavated. The walk took us around the outskirts of Buxton up to the moors of the Goyt Valley with views over Errwood Reservoir. At one point we crossed over the remains of the Cromford and High Peak Railway.
A great walk of around 8 miles, and perfect walking weather - generally not too warm and a good breeze when it was!
