A visit to Barrhaven

It suddenly dawned on us that we hadn't seen some very special people in a long time. And then we checked calendars to see when we had seen them last. And then we realized we hadn't seen them in a very, VERY long time (like 4 years, almost).

How does this happen? It is not as if our lives are filled with fast cars and lengthy absences from the city. Well, not enough, any way. But we can go years without seeing people we really like. Insane.

Anyway, we invited ourselves over for dinner and had a wonderful time. Mattie was happy to have baked beans and ham. Absolutely no way we are going four more years without seeing them. Promise.
