Trout Farm

My second visit to the wonderful River Gwash Trout Farm yesterday afternoon. They built a photography hide right next to one of their trout ponds. This means that you get to see these amazing birds extremely close up as they dive for fish. I haven't quite managed  a photo of one diving in yet & yesterday I decided to use my Sony RX iv instead of my DSLR. That was a bit scary in itself but it seems to have worked mostly. Osprey 28 dived 6 times but only managed to catch a fish on the 6th dive...we didn't mind so many dives at all! All 6 dives were very close to the hide. Wonderful :)
