Cherries...

...on our cherry tree in the back yard. Every year they get about this size, which is just about a half an inch, & then what the birds don't eat just shrivel up and turn black. I'm not sure what needs to be done to have them grow to full size, but the bark and the blossoms are really pretty, so that's enough for me. I've spent the morning baking cookies for the meal site, as I'm serving the dinner there tonight. I made extras because last month a couple of the people who contribute deserts were on vacation and we ran out before everyone had eaten, which always makes us feel bad, especially when there are children coming through to eat.
