A Night At The Opera

It's always a thrill to go to the opera. Richard and Sue treated us to an evening at Holland Park Opera which is lovely, especially on a warm evening. There is lots of air and the dress code is casual. Or dapper, in the case of this gentleman.

Two relatively unknown works, the first one silly and frothy and delightful. The second by Tchaikovsky and intense but brilliant. Bookended by a delicious supper - main before and cheese after. With cake in the interval.

An altogether fab evening.
