Mono Monday

Mono Monday is getting more complicated for me. I’m looking at Carolina’s entry for 7/22/19 and it says the theme is overlay, but then Nikkimags says Street Scene. The tags are different too so either way, I’m using this which has been overlayed and is a Street scene.

Glad to be traveling south in this rush hour traffic and rain  

The rainbow was overlaid.

A difficult task accomplished and found not to be difficult. Lots of love and family ties are still strong.

In the Grove: The Poet at Ten



She lay on her back in the timothy

and gazed past the doddering

auburn heads of sumac.



A cloud--huge, calm,

and dignified--covered the sun

but did not, could not

put it out.



The light surged back again.



Nothing could rouse her then 

from the joy so violent

it was hard to distinguish from pain.
