Waterfront Taverna

Our hosts took us to their local taverna and introduced us to the owner before leaving us to go to work. We had a waterside table as a base to come and go as we pleased, leaving our stuff there to swim in the crystal clear water and return for lunch and ice creams. It was idyllic.
We returned to the house mid afternoon for reading, more swimming and volley ball. Still nowhere near the 168 record!
In the evening, Mr M impressed our hosts with his barbecuing skills and then we went down to a local bar for evening drinks with them and another guest/friend of theirs who is leaving tomorrow.
It’s a very different style of holiday to what we are used to, sharing a house with people we don’t really know, but they are lovely, relaxed and sociable, so it’s all good.
