As hot as....

Had to do some washing today, and this towel will serve as my Blip! Surely today’s temperature has matched these countries!

Pilates and Kathy have become my Tuesday routine. Both good. Today we took Kathy to the last meeting of the term, a Garden Tea Party with jelly and ice-cream, cucumber sandwiches and tiny chocolate eclairs. She really enjoys going out but it is a terrific effort and is exhausted when we get her home again. She will be 94 next month.

We ate dinner in the garden and watched plums tumble from the tree! There really is a bumper crop and many will become jam.

Today we have a new Prime Minister, to take office tomorrow....Mmmm
