it was a weekend at the movies like no other!

at the movie theater...

friday was aqua teen hunger force colon movie film for theaters, which i not only was super excited to see, but felt obligated to see, since i will be writing a thesis around it (the show).

saturday through sunday was a 24 hour sci-fi movie marathon. apparently it's an annual thing but my friend and i decided to go last minute. i though i would stay for a few movies then duck out. but once it hit around 8 or 10 o clock i thought "screw it, i am in this for the long haul!" we were rewarded for our efforts with a shiney certificate as we left.

and sci-fi isn't even my favorite genre. my genre tends to be the coming-of-age/ journey of self discovery (through destruction of the self)/teenage comedy/drama or chamber room drama pieces. for example my favorite movie is closer (hence the picture), followed immediately by garden state. fight club is up there, as is me and you and everyone we know...

sunday was disturbia, to wind down the weekend.

i still haven't slept. i am exhausted...
