Ne'erday Rainbow

We had several festive cobwebs to be blown off, so went for a ne'erday walk along the beach from Seamill to Portencross. It was a gloriously bright afternoon with the occasional very light rainshower, dampening the air just enough to delight us with a magnificent rainbow that kept recurring for several hours. This view is across the West Kilbride Golf Course from the beach path, with the houses of the Corsehill area of Seamill and West Kilbride reflecting the bright sunshine. Nikon D300s, f13 at 1/200 second and ISO200. I underexposed by 1 stop to maintain a contrasting dark sky.
