Copped a Copper

I had a really good night's sleep inspite of the heat and a bit of a thunderstorm, most unusual these days.

JJ was on early morning grandson duty, ferrying them to their holiday football sessions (why don't they cancel it in this heat), so I took advantage of the early morning to see what butterflies were around over the back.

Plenty, is the answer and I think the little White Lettered Hairstreak must have recognised me because it came and sat on my right shoulder.  I did try to get a picture but failed.

I was pleased to see this Little Copper sitting quietly enjoying an early morning snack.  Better viewed large.
