I went to Mount Pond first thing hoping to see the Cayuga (before it got too hot); it wasn't visible when I arrived so I spent some time following the mallard with four little mallardlings. I almost left before seeing the Cayuga, but then I noticed it pottering about in the shade by the mount, and eventually it meandered over to have a look at what was going on over by the snack wagon...
