Driving home | Ireland, July 2019

Driving home from a family visit. The rain has finally stopped, the odd outbreak notwithstanding, and we're now getting some of the sun that the rest of Europe can do without.

I'm glad we're here and not back in Holland where the temperature has hit 39c - a new record.

Tomorrow off to Galway and hopefully a bit more photography. We lived in Galway for four years and so I always enjoy coming back there. At this time of year the arts festival is on as well as the races so there should be a lot of life (and photo opportunities!) about the place.

Now just need to hope it stays dry....
