What a storm last night....

I was sound asleep (I'd taken ages to get to sleep), then I was suddenly woken up by what I thought were car headlights, which I don't usually notice...and a loud heartbeat in my ear...

Bang!  Then more flashing lights, and quite suddenly my brain realised 'it's a thunderstorm'!

I had hoped a bit of rain would cool the air, but its even hotter today and I'm absolutely shattered

Thankfully it was a fairly quiet day in the office though and I caught up on a couple of things :)
