Standing Room Only

On a day that was even hotter than yesterday, the outdoor pool, as you can see, extremely popular! There certainly wasn't any room to swim.

Tess had arranged a "play date" for Sophie with a little boy she is friendly with at Toddler Hroup and his Mum so, while they bobbed about in the children's pool I took the chance to sit poolside and read a book (Zadie Smith's Swing Time).

This morning Sophie helped me in the garden before we went to Rhyme Time, while Tess met up with the ladies that lunch.
